Philadelphia Police Sergeant Line-of-Duty Death

24th District Sergeant Line-of-Duty Death

The Philadelphia Police Department is mourning the loss of Sergeant Stephen Liczbinski, who was gunned down while attempting to apprehend a robbery suspect on May 3, 2008, at about 11:45AM, in the 2600 block of Schiller Street.

Sgt. Liczbinski is the third Philadelphia Police Officer killed by gunfire in the line-of-duty during the last two years, with Officer Gary Skerski being shot on May 8, 2006 and Officer Charles Cassidy succumbing to a gunshot wound on November 1, 2007.

The thoughts and prayers of the entire Domelights.com community are extended to Sergeant Liczbinski and his family.
